Another gorgeous 81 degree day in South Florida. This is my favorite intersection/road in Brandon, FL. It's called Brandon Parkway, but I call it "Serenity Drive". How can you not? It's palm trees as far as you can see!
Stir Fry 22/365
Stir fry veggies cooking for my dinner tonight at work. One of my very favorite quick and easy meals.

Peekaboo Building
The story-a-day is harder than the pic-a-day any-day.
Nothing to see here folks. Move on. Break it up. Go on home.

Half Price Saturday
We went to Half Price Books yesterday. It was so busy. Glad to see that.
In order to get this shot I had to pull the fire alarm but it was so worth it. "Run! Run!" I yelled.
I went in to Penzeys first to get my free jar of Roasted Garlic. Mmmm.
They were busy too but I did not need any pictures there.

Two photos today to show the detail of Spanish moss. Instead of leaves, like on a maple up North, we get this....sometimes it gets curly and resembles ramen noodles. It's very soft to the touch and in some craft stores you can buy it. It's everywhere here and I don't know what kind of tree this is. The palm trees here don't have the moss....just these.

Sorry haven't been on. My Lil guy is starting to roll over and hold his bottle. He still wants nothing to do with baby food

Amazing the moment I looked up at my ceiling to see this.
The cat was going crrraaazy jumping up in the air, then I showed the boys.
Revising
I met Paul after I published my first book last spring. He'd written a book and was having trouble getting it on Amazon.
He'd made some revisions and had some trouble uploading. I went over, met his cat, had a ham sandwich, good conversation, and uploaded his book.
Here he is making some last minute revisions for his Description page.

Went to the barbecue hut down the street from where I live. Gosh, it's nothing fancy....just a trailer like you'd see at a summer carnival selling pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, and brisket either by the pound or dinners with sides. Under the black tent is the smokers and under the white tent, if you choose to eat there and not get a Styrofoam container to go, is picnic table seating. Definitely southern redneck dining, but it was damn good pulled pork!! I will be back!!
Holiday Vacations
We went to the Ramada for a viewing of a travel plan with Mike Miller; former Channel 12 anchor. Holiday Travel works with local radio and television stations to find hosts of note to help with advertising etc.
As we arrived a hostess took our names and wrote down the sequential number. We were the 7th couple to arrive. The Holiday Vacation Tour Director told us that we could not all go if we wanted to. There is a limit on Amtrak rail car capacity and they had already sold space. And the space would be offered first come first served.
Mike was nice. He walked right up and introduced himself as I was getting a water before we started.
I don’t really do well in group tours. I’m a little independent.
And I think we might be able to do better than $8000 for ten days. Still, if you like all inclusive ...
