Eitrea, Armenia, and Mirriam
On this day I met a couple folks that pushed my country list to 55 ... at least. I'd seen the guy from Eitrea several times in the shop. This was the first time we went for a ride together - a short ride. I don't know much about him, what he does, or why he came to Milwaukee. He had an interesting name and I asked about the origin. Simple as that. Tell me about you. Then listen.
He said East Africa. I asked for a country name. Had I heard of it? Yes, I had. Welcome aboard.
Later I met a gal from Armenia. One hundred percent Armenian - married to an Armenian. She said her kids get asked about their ethnic origin. They say Armenian. And what else? Nothing else. One hundred percent.
And then I met Mirriam. More on that later. Maybe here where there are more stories about people I meet. Or checkout Drive Time in the Milwaukee County Library System. It's also in print and Kindle on Amazon.
