Shawn's daughter, Anna. We have a love/hate relationship. I chose this photo since she's smiling. She never smiles in photos. I, too, am really worried about the kid since yesterday. We received a phone call, from her cell phone, yesterday. It was two thug kids, that ride her bus, threatening to do some unmentionables to her and they said that they had her. After about twenty seconds, Shawn hung up and called her Mother. Anna was safe at home. It was a long night of getting her phone turned off through the cell phone provider (Anna doesn't remember if she left it on the bus or someone stole it), filing a police report, calls back and forth to her mother, and getting Anna to calm down. She's, now, scared to go to school or ride the bus. Her Mother drove her to school this morning and Shawn and her Mother, together, were going to file a report with the on-site officer at the school. Yep, they have one at all times since it's a really poor title 1 school. Today, Shawn will be leaving early to pick Anna up from school, so no bus at all today. I don't know how long they'll refrain from having her ride the bus. She's not my child, so I try to stay out of it. If she were though I'd be pulling her out of that hell hole since she's the minority there and it's 90% black. I just hope she's mentally alright. Poor girl.

Scary stuff.
ReplyDeleteI'd pull her out of that school, but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteSad. Sorry. Sending love.
